Community Development Mission Statement:
Community Development is a very diverse department, which consists of Planning & Zoning, Building Inspections, Permits, Code Enforcement, Licensing and Geographic Information Systems. The Community Development Department is responsible for ensuring that the development of the city occurs in a manner which is safe, efficient and attractive, as well as enhances the overall quality of life for our citizens.

Welcome to the Community Development Department. We are a very diverse department housing Planning & Zoning, Building Department, & Code Enforcement. Our staff is here to serve the citizens of Villa Rica and to assist you in a helpful and friendly manner.
