Youth Library Card
  • There is no minimum age for a youth to receive a PINES library card. 
  • Only an adult (18 years or older) may register a minor for a youth library card.
  • The Adult or Co-Signer must be a parent or legal guardian. (Proper paperwork must be shown for legal guardianship.)
  • A parent or legal guardian must sign the application for all children under 18.
  • The minor must be present when applying for the youth library card.
  • Parent or legal guardian must show proper ID and valid (in good standing) PINES library card to register a child. 
  • Parent or legal guardian whose account is not in good standing may not use the Co-signed youth library card in place of their own.

  •  Every two years from time of application youth accounts must be renewed. 
  • To renew a youth account the co-signing parent or legal guardian must show proper ID and valid (in good standing) PINES library card.  All Co-signers accounts must also be in good standing.
  •  Account for youth must be in good standing with a zero balance in order to be validated for renewal.
  •  Account renewals may not be done by phone.

Signing a PINES Youth Library Card application denotes acceptance of responsibility for all fines and fees for lost or damaged materials as well as any and all damage to the property of the Villa Rica Public Library.
