The MILL AmphitheaterThe MILL Amphitheater located at 106 Temple Street is a 2,500 capacity “green space” Amphitheater where concerts, festivals, classic car shows, comedy shows, and numerous annual events are scheduled. The MILL Amphitheater has hosted such legendary musical bands such as Mother's Finest, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Ken Ford, Wet Willie and The SOS Band!

The Villa Rica Welcome Center, located just behind The MILL Amphitheater, provides local, regional and statewide tourist information as well as information about local events and festivals happening in our great city!


While you’re downtown visit Wick’s Tavern, the oldest commercial structure in West Georgia. 

Villa Rica is home of the first Gold Rush in Georgia and that history is captured daily at the Pine Mountain Gold Museum where you can walk the trails where miners walked, take a scenic ride on the Pine Mountain Railroad, pan for gold and gems, and view a 20-minute documentary film on the history of the Villa Rica gold mines and natural gold history of Georgia. The recently renovated museum is the only museum built on an actual gold mine.

Rich in history Villa Rica is home to Coca-Cola legend Asa Candler and Gospel Music founder Thomas A. Dorsey. The city has gained notoriety of late from such hometown celebrities Professional Basketball Player Jae Crowder and comedian (and Season 8 winner of The Last Comic Standing) Rod Man who hosts the Annual Main Street Live Talent Show.
